ABOUT APSA
We are the UF Chapter of the American Physician Scientists Association! APSA is dedicated towards creating and fostering the next generation of physician-scientists by providing a community of like-minded individuals interested in medicine and research. We provide students with opportunities such as research symposiums, elementary school volunteering, MD-PhD panels, seminars, and social events!
We are part of the national chapter of the American Physician Scientists Association. To be a part of our chapter, it is not mandatory to be a member of APSA's national chapter, but it's a great way to meet other individuals passionate about medicine and research!
Why join APSA?

Join a community of like-minded future physician-scientists
Being a part of APSA means closely interacting with students who are equally passionate about the future career of a physician-scientist. Through general board meetings, social gatherings, and banquets, APSA becomes a close-knit family!

Take part in community volunteering
NotNot only are we passionate about research and medicine, but also community outreach. Through volunteering opportunities in elementary schools, nursing homes, and more, members are able to get vital non-clinical volunteering experience!

Get exposed to undergraduate research
We provide different opportunities that allow members to discover potential research opportunities through MD-PhD research panels, physician panels, research symposiums, and more!
